I've wanted to watch the movie for some time now.
I'll read the books, though.

"Tilda Swinton is fearless. She’ll take on any role without her ego, paycheck, vanity or career path playing a part ... Swinton here is amazing. She goes for broke and wins big time." - Roger Ebert.
Wow, the books are my favorite.
I have a copy dated way back when.
A few years ago I bought the PC game by American McGee, but it stopped working on me in the ice level (mainly because my computer was stalling on and off).
I want the Disney version and the Hallmark version even though they cut out a bit from the book (but then again, what movie doesn't?).
I even went as far as to check out CLAMP's Miyuki-chan in Wonderland & Miyuki-chan in Mirror Land, but it turned out to be weirder than it sounded.
All the characters were altered into female forms and were all trying to get into Miyuki's (Alice's) skirt.
It wasn't what I expected, but I think the whole Alice connection was cool. And it was pretty silly
I even named one of my neopets Alice.
Also even though it's not really related, but I heard an audio file of Vincent Price reciting a different poem/story about the Jabberwock (Jabberwocky in Alice's world).
Love the book, movie(s) (there's been a couple... few) everything about it!
Doesn't really matter which way I'm taking it in cause the Madd Hatter and the Cheshire Cat are always there! They've got to be my favorite characters out of all that weirdness!
"I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I've ended up where I needed to be." - Douglas Adams
"A learning experience is one of those things that says 'You know that thing you just did? Don't do that.' " - Douglas Adams
I love alice in wonderland! I even have a white rabbit tattoo.
Gemini Moon Dragon
Disney version's fantastical and all, but I love the twisted goth version =) Shows how bent reality can be *thumbs up*
Yeah I like the goth one as well. I went as "malice in horrorland" for halloween a couple years ago. (not the costume in a bag from spencers... that would looked rather slutty so I made my own.)
My old Account was hacked. Make me avie art? Monthly Collectable is awarded to the person who does the best job!
I love these books. The Mad Hatter has always been my favorite character. I blame him for my obsession with hats. But the Cheshire Cat is great in his own right.
Strange film..no doubt a strange book aswell. It cries out "I was on drugs at the time." I've never noticed how weird it really was until watching it again not long ago. :l

Add me if you like although I couldn't care less.
i heard through the grape vine tim burton is thinking about doing a stop motion version of the book. there's also this artist named bri-chan on deviant art that has taken the alice characters and made them into a hysterical comic. check it out and enjoy.
