on 2nd thought though this does give me inspiration again to set up a project where in which all of our trained specialists do a real one of these. layra on the drums, spife on electric guitter, evoldicks singing. yeaaaaaaaaaa
cool
Wait, a real one of what? A band? Are we being an epic fantasy metal band? Are we going to play songs about dragons and wizards and elves? I don't think any of us are Nordic enough for that. Seriously, Esk, fantasy metal probably isn't our thing. Sure, I'll be happy to make the attempt, but I don't think this is going to work very well. I haven't even read the Silmarillion all the way through. Do any of us speak Quenya?
Besides which, Tolkein's mythology is kind of played-out already. I don't know why you're so hung up on his stuff. If we're going to be a decent fantasy metal band, we need to find some material that hasn't been completely done already. But I'm far from convinced that fantasy metal is our thing; I really don't know why you'd think it is, Esk.
