Röyksopp has been my favorite band and musical inspiration for years. Their electronic music seems to have a lot of depth and emotion.

Have any of you heard of them? They're from Norway and have had a couple of their songs featured in commercials in the states.

One of their songs was in the first Geico caveman commercial if any of you remember that...
It was called "Remind Me".

I briefly remember their song "Happy Up Here" playing in the background of a Target commercial a few years ago.

They work with other singers/musicians all the time such as Robyn and Susanne Sundfor and they also have done a lot of covers and remixes. My favorite of those covers is Depeche Mode's "Ice Machine".
Röyksopp did a beautiful job on it.

I know anyone who lives near Norway must know who they are, but I'm curious.

Yeah, though they're a bit hit, and miss for me.

Probably say Poor Leno, What Else Is There, Remind Me, and So Easy are my favorites.

Poor Leno is one of my favorites too, but I think my most favorite is either Keyboard Milk, or Something in my Heart.

It's so hard to choose.

I liked them until Senior... Melody A.M. was their best IMO

Yeah, I didn't like Senior that much, but the music they've come up with since then has been pretty good.
I hope they come out with another full album soon. It seems like they've just been releasing singles lately.

Ice Machine - Depeche Mode cover - Yes it's a cover, but still amazing and included in my favorites.

They've done more, including one they released a few days ago called "2013". That one sounds like a song from the 40's or something which makes it kind of mysterious. It's more like one you'd hear in Senior, but I still like it a lot.

You probably heard the first ones, but those were the singles I was talking about.
