Rule # 3 - Regulars are always right, even when we are wrong

when has THAT ever happened?

It cant happen - Even when we are dead wrong, we're always right. So I guess it was kinda pointless to even say that last part.

But hey, I say 2+2=5, so yeah. Im right biatch.

Now I have more evidence supporting my hypothesis on the effects psychedelic drugs have on the cerebral cortex.
I thought I was a regular. Oh well.

In measurement in science, the number of significant digits is usually encoded in the way a number is written. That is, under certain conditions, "2" has only one significant digit, which means it represents a measurement with a margin of error of 1, which means the actual value may lie between 1.0... and 3.0. When adding such measurements together, the margins of error are also added in quadrature, so (2±1) + (2±1) = 4 ± (1.0^2 + 1.0^2)^1/2 = 4 ± 1. And since "5" actually means 5 ± 1, these margins clearly overlap and one could jokingly argue that the numbers are the same. A popular phrasing of this statement is "2 + 2 = 5 for large values of 2 or small values of 5".

The fact that I think scientifically is obvioiusly related to drug usage!

If 2+2=5, then 1=2, or 2=1. Me and Cyph3r.Punk make two. Since 2=1, me and Cyph3r.Punk are one. Since Cyph3r.Punk is always right, I'm also always right.

The earth is also flat (for small patches of land.)

I can determine that I am exactly 1.0 person. Why? I can measure whole units, therefore my degree of percision is in the tenths place. When you add sig figs into here, my degree of percision means that I have a error of ±.1... Which technically means that I am either .9 of a person of 1.1 of a person.

Therefore, we would be between 1.8 of a person or 2.2 of a person.

Your logic is flawed.

Your reasoning is excellent, but your basic assumptions are wrong.

Flawed lawgic alawys sounded like an oxymoron to me. Anyway, it's interesting that you insist that "regs are right even they're wrong." It's meaning is not literal. It can be interpreted in many different ways, and there are hidden assumptions. Just as the assumption that we're dealing with sig figs in 2+2=5.

So did you mean something like "We act as if we are right even if we know we're wrong"?

One word my friend: Doublethink
Could we also have a list of the regular's music handles/music project names in hyperlinks beside them?
