when i plug my headphones in with my adapter i can only hear my music if my cue is set to MASTER and i cant listen to an individual track that isent playing on the speakers. also, every time i buy a 1/4-1/8'' adapter it always seems to brake, is there any brand out there that you know wont break easily?

Ok ok, what are you talking about?

What midi controller?

C10? C7?

Those are midi controllers, you probably are referencing to a DJ controller amirite?

What software are you using, what controller?

Edit: Also, are you using a screwable 1/4 adapter or a "plug"?

You need to buy the full version of VirtualDJ to adjust your audio settings correctly to have cue playback through your headphones separate to the master feed. You'll have to drop a couple hundred.

I run through an analog mixer for live mixing, so I have my playback set to external mixers, you'll just have to play with the sound settings until you get it right.

The (LE) VDJ is complete crap, basically.
