You need to make a track in a........... *drumroll*
DEAD (or almost dead) ELECTRONIC GENRE!
What do you say old schoolers? Wanna do a NU-NRG, Garage, acid trance or HHC track?

Anyway, I'm totally unsurprisingly probably going to do acid trance. Because everything I make ends up sounding like acid trance unless I really try. I'd totally do 1980s style electro if I thought I could manage it.

I don't suppose the endless mashups of Space Jam could count.

If I were to do an actual Rave music I'd need a few examples first.


In fact in no matter what genre I'd need more examples since pretty much any genre thats dead/dying I haven't really listened to much of. I really only ever listen to uplifting Trance, House, DnB, EBM, PsyTrance, Aggrotech, and sometimes Gabber and Breakcore.
