I don't actually hear the problem. Which pattern are you talking about? Besides which, your drums are kind of too loud anyway.
Also, the vocals are really cheesy.

Yeah, I haven't really done anything with the kick drum. I'm still kind of trying to set things up for the track before dwelling on anything else really. It's not really any pattern, but all the kick drum patterns. The very first kick to be exact. Anyway, I'm going to try to work without worrying so much on it. Thanks. As for the vocals, they're not mine. I'm doing a remix for a contest. I take 80s sound stuff isn't your thing?

It's not the 80s thing, exactly. I'm fine with the instrumentation. It's just that the vocals are ridiculously dumb, and the effects on them don't help.
Listening again, I still don't hear the problem, except for possibly in pattern 7, but that's mainly because the snare is so loud. Anyway, I wouldn't worry about the volume problem with the first kick until you fix the main problem, which is that the kicks are all too loud anyway. Don't worry about mixing problems until you're going to fix the mixing problems.

Poor Ultra Sheriff. sad Yeah, I think it could be pattern 7 alone. But I opened up FL Studio as a brand new project and still got the problem. But you're right, I shouldn't worry about that right now. Thanks again.

Listening to the track and scanning through your effects chain, I can neither hear the problem nor see anything that might cause it. It's not Maximus, at least not if the display isn't lying about the volume. It's not the drum sample itself, because that cuts off way before the bar ends. I'm pretty sure it's not the other instruments, because those rarely come down at the same time as the kick drum.
I can only conclude that your computer or monitoring system is adding some sort of compression somewhere.

Work has been killing me the last couple months, havent had a lot of time to check out some of the stuff here, apologies. I'll dig through next week while procrastinating.

I've managed to put a few things together though. Mostly just messing around with new software, trying out different samples etc. I havent made a serious attempt at anything in a while.

In any case, not much occurs here. I see you found what cutoff and resonance are, but your mixdown is going to need a lot of work. Luckily, we can provide some help. Are you using headphones or monitors?
