Sooooo if I was thinking about getting into DJing, or maybe making electronic music where would I start?

If you wanna start DJing, I'd suggest getting yourself a collection of music and organize them by BPM and Genre.

Next, find yourself some CDs and burn stuff like crazy.

Go to your local guitar center / audio electronics store and ******** around with CDJs for a few hours in your spare time and teach yourself to beatmatch / mix properly.

Eventually, you'll want to record your own mix, so try and find a way of putting out a good 45min to 1 hour mix. Go big or go home! - SEND THIS MIX EVERYWHERE.

Look for gigs, look for local promoters, send them your mix...and maybe you'll get lucky to be pulled into a gig. <3

Producing your own music? Try out Fruity Loops, or if you're daring - Ableton.

Use Youtube and other great media-sites to find out the basics of the program, spend several weeks learning it and just create stuff!
