I wouldn't think of it that way.
Durem still has a very high fan count and I don't think that'll change with the lose.

By the looks of things the games are still playable. I'm not sure if new scores are being accepted or added though.

Scores are no longer counted, we came in second place.
You can still get the items though and play the games.
