I think I'd rather be the Doctor in all honesty. Companions have such raw deals sometimes which makes me pretty sure I'd only stand a 40% chance of surviving more than two episodes just due to bad luck alone.

Definitely a companion. Timelords hold too much baggage. Plus I don't think I would want to live that long.

Definitely a companion. The Doctor loses too many people in his life. I wouldn't be able to deal with having a life like his.

I'd go for Doctor. I was going to say companion buuut... honestly. You never know what the hell kind of deal you get and people tend to give you that 'Yeah, it's ANOTHER female companion' rolling eyes look. Basically makes you the automatic groupie of the Doctor.

I choose doctor cause of the adventures you get to go on, and companion is nice but they get left behind eventual which is sad, and though the doctor does regenerate i still be the doctor with a new due wink

I wouldn't care to be The Doctor, but definitely a Time Lord. What fun it would be to explore all of space and time and learn all of the things there are to learn. Immortality and two hearts are just another sweet bonus!
