Probably but I'd make sure to make time for my regular life as well, it's not all about him after all.

I might give up my regular life. Maybe the occaisional visit here or there, but honestly Tardis life trumps normal life right now. The only thing that would keep me here would be a wife and kids. Right now though I am a 23 year old acting major, whose life consists of school and sitting at home playing video games.

So when the Doctor randomly ditches you for whatever reason what's your backup plan for regular life? I personally don't like the sound of living homeless on the streets. neutral

Considering he doesn't just dump people with out some kind of plan anymore, I am not too worried. And even the ones he did, none of them ended up homeless. None of the classic companions ever went back and visited family and friends.

Also I said I am an acting major. What better training could I get than having to lie my way through stuff with The Doctor.

I wouldn't hesitate at all.

To be able to see any part of the universe at any point in time... I don't care how it would end. It's the getting there that counts. And getting there would be amazing.

When my time with him would be up, I'd come back here and write a series of amazing sci-fi novels about a mysterious and lonely time traveler who decided to bring someone along for the ride. And that's all assuming that I don't die along the way.

Taking my life into account, I'd drop everything and help the doctor regaurdless of my life being at risk. I'd be helping to save and protect people, and thats all the justification I would need. Traveling with the doctor through time and space, would be wonderful but I'd probably be more in because of my hero complex.
