never mind that, the writing has been incredibly inconsistent ever since Moffat took over. This year is even worse. Not that the show hasn't always been riddled with plot holes and convenient twists. But Davies set a standard that isn't being held up.

the statue of liberty being able to move through NY was just inexcusable. the whole concept of the story was that the angels were there because of the easy food source. it has one of the highest population densities in the world. even back then. there's no way an object that big could move around in a city known for its night life.

Its just a show and they were just having fun with it.. I get it gets annoying, but sometimes you have to not think about that stuff. The show is known to not be 100% serious all the time.
