Although I like each Doctor for their varying qualities, I think Tennant brought a new kind of energy to the role that was reminiscent of some of the other younger actors but in a way that radiated differently to them. He had a kind of nervous, kinetic power to him, whereas Davison was more steadfastly reckless and McGann more confident and mischievous.

That's a tough question... I liked all of them a lot, but I think 11 is edging out ahead. I'm looking forward to seeing how Capaldi's portrayal is going to affect my fave Doc shuffle.

Can't really pick one incarnation out of the whole run of the show who's my favorite... I only dislike Six because he feels like The Doctor's midlife crisis regeneration lol besides him, I like them all! Though 10 will always have a place in my heart as he was my First (Blink being my first ever episode) and the New generation Doctor that reintroduced my namesake to the newer Whovians and spawn her own series ^^

I admit, I love all the Doctors and I have high hopes for the newest one, but there will always be a special place in my heart for the tenth. I started watching the show because of him. The 5th wasn't bad either. He would be my favorite of the older ones.

Oh good, other people have put in early votes for the Twelfth. heart
I had never heard of Peter Capaldi before he got the role, and now I am ridiculously excited for Series 8. Actually a little bit scared too, because a good actor can only do so much for a bad script. :C Please don't screw this up, production team.

Favorite new series Doctor who's had at least a full episode: Eleventh. I got into Doctor Who over the summer of 2012, watching all the new series episodes in reruns up to that point, so I was all caught up by the time Asylum of the Daleks aired...and I got pretty attached to Eleven over the course of Series 7.
