SO WHERE IS IT??? We don't even have a trailer, or pictures from the set, where is it??? scream stressed confused dramallama
Is there even going to be one? I'd assume not, I haven't heard of any filming, as they only started season 7 film a couple of weeks ago.

I hadn't heard anything to suggest we'd get one. Why are you expecting one?

That doesn't really count as that whole season was "specials"

I think it more played at as an episode per season (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter)

Easter Typically marker the start of the season proper, rather than a special.... but this year was pushed back to fall.

Season 1 first aired March 26th 2005
Season 2 first aired April 15th 2006
Season 3 first aired March 31st 2007
Season 4 first aired April 5th 2008
Planet of the Dead (and thus the season of "specials" wink first aired April 11th 2009
Season 5 first aired April 3rd 2010
Season 6 first aired April 23rd 2011

Season 3 first aired September 11th 1965

Buuut I'm just being overly nitpicky over the semantics of seasons.

But yeah, Planet of the Dead was totally an Easter Special. That "season" only consisted of 4 episodes. All of which aired on major holidays except The Waters of Mars which was simply on the most important and memorable date of "Smack in the middle of November." So we had Christmas 2008, Easter 2009, November-ish 2009, Christmas 2009, and New Year's Day 2010.

No "Summer Episode." Just specials.

It wasn't even counted as a season, it was just... "The specials." It was essentially Season 4.5.

*raspberries @ season semantics*

I was this close for including "new who" to the seasons but given the topic is referring to series 7, I figured it was a given what seasons I was talking about :p

I could have sworn Waters of Mars was in the summer...

For me Planet of the Dead was the first in a series of special, rather than an Easter special.

They aired waters of mars ect because there was a long period of time between seasons....this time instead of breaking up the season of 12 episodes into to two partial 6x6 seasons they're going to air them all at once starting in....august if i remember correctly.

Right there, in bold. I pointed out that only Classic Who referred to them as seasons (or well, implied), and thus the first six seasons were back in the '60s. xd

No, They are all known as Series. However the NuWho ones have 2 different numbers attached.

NuWho
Series 1 = 27
Series 2 = 28
Series 3 = 29
Series 4 = 30
Series 5 = 31
Series 6 = 32
Series 7 = 33

The hell are you talking about? neutral

OP mentioned seasons. Classic Doctor Who, with the first seven Doctors, used seasons. I'm not making this up. So I specifically pointed out when the actual "Season 1" through "Season 6" took place.

Are we even having the same conversation? xd
