OMG I have not been here in forever! But I totally need to tell you guys about this epicnes!!!
My 2 friends, my little sister & I went to the Doctor Who filming in NY today!
And not only did Matt and Karen totally acknowledge our existence by waving to us, we also started a wave for them! It kinda failed at first BUT, Matt was so amused by it, he asked us to try it again! Before we did he took out his camera (camera phone?) and so did Karen and he said "Wait! On the count of three, okay? One. Two. Three"
AND HE AND KAREN FILMED US DOING IT!!!!
Oh. My. God.
I do believe that was the single, greatest moment of my LIFE. Knowing that I am on Matt Smith's & Karen Gillan's cameras/phones is just...just the most amazing thing in the world!!!
So glad we decided to start a wave!!! mrgreen
What if they put it in a behind the scenes thing? Or the supposed music video Karen & the Babes are making? WHAT IF!?!?

The fact that this happened, totally makes up for the fact we didn't get to actually meet them. Though I did try to get a hug from Karen as they were leaving, she kept getting pulled away by her security. She tried so hard to sign things for people though and was so sweet, even looked back at me before getting in the van. It's kinda funny too, I actually ended up keeping pace with her the whole time and basically jogged with her to the van, as opposed to everybody else who just sort of moshed around her. Pretty cool that i was so close to her, we were like two gingers just jogging along lol

...I can't remember the last time I was this jealous of someone! That's so awesome!!

Sometimes I wish I was in the US or the UK.... They hardly ever remember Australia in the grand scheme of things. razz
