Doctor Who isn't ending any time soon. We are not going to be having a full season this year but it will be back strong next year. Rumor has it that they are doing it that way because next year will be it's 50th anniversary. From what I gather we will get the Easter episode and the Christmas episode this year. Not sure about any other episodes.

There is a full season this year. 13 episodes plus Christmas Special is what Matt has signed on for, they will be airing in the fall.
