We changed some configuration options yesterday that should help prevent "redirections" when you're in towns/rallies. If you see more redirects, please let us know in the Bug Report forum.
Also, it's worth pointing out: whenever you get a login dialog, whether it's the Gaia website or in towns, please be sure to check the address. We're seeing an increase in users that are getting phished, and it only takes 5 seconds to check and make sure that you're still on our site.
We're going to take down Flash spaces for about an hour tomorrow -- Rallies, Towns, MTV, and Skittles will be affected. This allows us to roll out some backend changes that should help reduce lag and improve performance.
Our planned maintenance for the flash spaces is now complete. (Specifically: Towns, Rallies, MTV and Skittles).
There were a number of changes to the client and backend server, but this should reduce the amount of lag (especially with large numbers of people in the room) and also stop a number of annoying scripting attacks.
We think everything is fine, but if you run into problems, please report them in our official feedback thread for this round of flash changes.
