I don't like Taylor Swift. I have liked one or two of her songs. Some of them are catchy. But overall, I don't find her songwriting memorable or mature. If I had to sum up her writing in one word, it would be "cute". Cute is alright, but it doesn't go very far. As for her singing...I have heard much better singers.

She's pretty and charming, and her songs are easy to relate to, especially for her target audience of teen girls. But I turn off the radio when I hear her. (Unless it's Teardrops On My Guitar. biggrin )

Agreed. (and that song makes me cry !)

My favorite songs from her are: Love Story, Our Song, White Horse, and Teardrops from my Guitar, and Today was a Fairy Tale. You Belong with Me is ok, but annoying when it overplayed on the radio. I don't know how anyone can't like the song: Love Story (it though opinion though!) Taylor Swift seem overated sometime though sweatdrop (don't get me wrong I still love her down-to-earth personality and music).
