Anyone a fan of Naturalismo/Freak folk artists like Devendra Banhart, Animal Collective, Joanna Newsom, Vashti Bunyan, Jana Hunter, or Vetiver?

Nobody I know listens to this type of music but I think its wonderful. Especially Devendra Banhart <3

Animal Collective's newer stuff is lacking substance ever since Strawberry Jam. Both of Joanna's albums are great, though.

I simply adore Joanna Newsom's music although I must admit I don't always 'get' freak folk artists. It seems really hit or miss to me. I've tried with Daniel Johnston, I really have.
