I'm sure you've all seen 50 million threads to the likes of "Lonestar vs. Rascal Flatts - Who is better?" ... well, no more! biggrin That's what this thread is for. I ask that you please keep this confined to Country, Bluegrass, or Folk, as the other main genres have their own sticky for this in the main music forum. You can access it by clicking HERE.

So, post your debates here! Here's one for starters:

Tim McGraw, for two reasons:

1) He might be my ticket out of this financial hellhole.
2) I lost all faith in Kenny Chesney when I saw him waving his...ummm...posterior in a most disturbing manner in one of his music videos (I forget which).

Um, Lonestar vs. Diamond Rio?


Both have a number of excellent songs, but I'll give it to Lonestar for Not A Day Goes By, one of the greatest love songs ever. Diamond Rio's Beautiful Mess is pretty awesome too, but the lead singer stole my look, so he loses cool points for that.

I can`t can`t can`t choose.

I have only seen Lonestar live, not Dimond Rio so I can`t judge live shows and both have equally great songs. Lonestar`s amazed was WAY too overplayed... but that isn`t their fault. I just can`t choose. D.R.`s I Believe is such a great song... ahhh... nope can`t do it.

but when it comes to tim vs. kenny i would say both because i loved tims new song live like you where dyin and then kenny because i loved his song i go back

1. Tim, I like few songs by Kenny
2.Diamond Rio, I know them well. And a song of theirs describes me.
3.Not sure, I knoe Gary better though
