I went, but I didn't do the meet up or anything. I was the only person in my group of friends who hangs out on Gaia....

I did meet up with a couple of gals from Gaia that were cosplaying Black and White.

Not making the meetup was my fault. I decided to go last minute and bought tickets right before they closed pre-registration. I should have gotten tickets earlier and taken the weekend off. At least I know to do that next year.

well my friends and myself who set up the one this year will hold the one for next year. and we are going to try to get gaia MODS involved or gaia itself because it was an unorganized event.

I hope you guys can get Gaia in on it. I'm still scratching my head as to why they went to Dragon*Con and not AWA. Skip the anime convention for the sci-fi convention that probably will have more Darth Vaders running around than Gaians? Sense, it maketh not.

dragon con had only around 20 people show up and gaia was involved.
they need to come to AWA cuz we got 80 people to show up on saturday

Hopefully, they'll understand AWA is a much better choice than D*C. I plan to attend both, though. I hope they'll stick with not doing them on the same weekend now. .___.

It would be nice, though, if we got Gaia in on it. I want to spin that wheel they supposedly have and try for a Halo or something just as expensive. Besides, it would do wonders for us to actually see them listen to us and actually come.

Yeah.. it would be... So, um... anyone okay with meeting up sometime in november at a restraunt somewhere and hanging out and talking this over? i'm good for augusta or savannah but.. prefer the former.

On another note... i'm going to make a slideshow thing for the AWA experience... lol atleast for one of the girls that was there.

if gaia does come, they will just do a raffle for a sealed envelope and they will do avi contests for sealed envelopes. hopefully there would be a wheel that could get you a halo though.
