Mad Moxxi - Acen 2012 - Progress

For Acen 2012 I have decided to cosplay as Mad Moxxi from Borderlands. Here is where i will post my progress and ask for opinions and criticism on what I have completed so far. I will update this thread regularly with my progress and photos of the costume.

~*~ My progress ~*~

*Boots: I have ordered these boots for Moxxi. They came in last week, and are perfect.

*I have the torn fishnet stockings and the white and black striped knee-highs already.

*All the supplies except for the garter and choker have been purchased.

* The megaphone has been painted.

* The gun holster is complete.

* The Jacket is assembled and trim has been applied.

* The stripe is on the hat.

~*~ What I need to complete: ~*~

I just started this costume, and I need to go out tonight to buy fabric and hit up some resale shops in search of bits and pieces. This will be my most expensive cosplay to date.
For Moxxi's ringleader jacket, I am going to use my corset, and build the jacket over it. I am using the corset to keep her figure and so nothing looks bulky.

Costume:
Red Hat with striped trim - $7
Queen of Hearts playing card
Red Ringleader coat with missing button and striped cuffs, collar, and yellow trim - $60
Corset underneath - $125
Boots - $60
Striped Stockings - $10
Ripped fishnets - $10
Black Fingerless Gloves - $10
Megaphone - Lampshade and hairdryer - $15
Gun holster - Rubi <3
Black Velvet Choker

Fabric:
Red
Black and White striped
Yellow Trim
Brass buttons (blue, 2 sizes)
All has been purchased.

4/23 UPDATE
Need to sew 4 white buttons on the cuffs of the jacket.
Need to add the Queen of Hearts and feather to the hat.
Need to assemble the megaphone.

* I have decided to buy a with this year. I found this one, and it looks pretty close, but I feel there might be something better. If you know of any online wig shops that have good reviews please let me know ASAP. Also what do you think of my current wig choice?

* Any suggestions for making her holster? I don't want to buy a cheap dress-up one. I am already spending an arm and leg on this, so I might as well go all out.

Its not too difficult. I managed to alter a steam punk pattern, and its working so far.

I was lurking in here a while ago, and now coming back to see that even more has been done, it all looks fantastic so far!
