Looking for something recognizable-- it's a gamer convention so there are less anime fans.
I'm already doing Kiki from kiki's delivery service and Chii from Chobits.

Do you think this Luka version would be recognizable? I need simple things as I will be involved in a lot of activity. wink

Thanks for the input! I was miku the year before last (in the black dress with the butterfly headphones) but I figured the headphones were pretty obvious. That and the bright teal pigtails. lol

I haven't really watched any anime in a few years, so I would have to say that I haven't a clue who that is.
I'm more of a comics/videogame person now.

That being said, if you do the costume well, it may not matter if it's recognizable.

I never really got into the whole Vocaloid thing. But with what I HAVE seen just as a casual observer, I might actually recognize you if I passed you at a con. I've seen that version a few times on the web, but I honestly wouldn't know the song or anything like that. I just know it's Vocaloid.

Not everyone is going to know who you're cosplaying as, but just appreciate the people that do. Cause they're the ones that share a common interest with you 3nodding That's why I don't mind cosplaying as more obscure characters. I just really like those characters

I'd say it is. I only saw the video once but when I went to Anime Expo one year I saw so many of those Luka cosplays, I recognized it right away. XD And it's a pretty cute Luka outfit if I do say so myself. :'3

Sadly not one person knew who I was last year. It was rather lonely. sad I had fun walking around though. A lot of people stopped me just to ask *who* i was so at least it helps spread the word. smile
