Welcome to Gaia! ::

The most amount of money I spend at cons is around a grand every time I go.
In the dealer's room alone, I spend generally 300 - 500 dollars during the weekend.
Con badges, I usually spend pre-registration prices and I take care of that early.
Food expenses are around 100 dollars a day. (Yes, I eat a LOT)
There are other expenses such as gaming room and other things I like to do at cons that usually cost me extra... also adds to my total expenses.

Characters with Cosplay I tend to spend around 200-300 dollars per one character.
Including Wig, accessories + outfit and shoes if needed.

Last year, I realized bringing $60 wasn't enough and went hungry because I spent my food portion of that money for a pocket watch. Priorities~ xp

So this year, I'm bring $200 dollars, staying more days, bringing my own food, and already got my ticket so....

'Bout $240, I believe.... xd

That doesn't even count the cosplays I'm making.

And I still figure it won't be enough when the time comes sweatdrop
Since all my money is used making cosplay and getting there, I usually don't drop a dime once I get there. Half the time I don't even buy a badge. If we stay in the hotel, we eat sandwhiches and whatnot,
For this Katsucon, Ive spent about...

About $167 for 2 nights at a hotel... + $50 deposit (although I get the full deposit back as long as I dont order room service or get extra amenities at the end of the stay.)

About $120 in a train ticket so I can get down there + $20 for the taxi.

$60 for an Organization 13 Jacket.

Since my boyfriend is handling our registration, I have just enough for food and traveling around the city. xD So in all, around $417 dollars have been spent. But its all worth it. xD
For tickets between $20-$40 on each convention I went to.

For hotel if I get a hotel I say at least $70 for 2 days, if there's a convention close to where I live that's less than an hour from where I live then I don't need a hotel I can go back home after each day at a convention.

For food, well it depends though I don't really like eating out that much so I go to grocery store or convenience store nearby to get snacks, ready to eat fruits, and drinks well I don't spent that much if I'm buying like generic snacks. If I do eat out, I spend probably at least $20.

Cosplaying well $20-$100 depends on who I'm going as and what stuff I need, my limit is less than $100 per costume though. I go to thrift stores to get like shoes to alter myself and clothes my mom can alter for my cosplay, look for sales at store that sells fabric or buy cheap but good enough kind of fabric. Only thing I buy online are wigs unless I'm unable to make something then I can get something that's part of my costume online as well. I usually spent most money on wig per character.

I spent at least $40 at dealers room, probably way more depends though.

I don't feel like adding it all up.
If you count how much I spend on cosplay... about $500 per con on average. (This may be because I can't sew for my life and we always eat out.)

Anime Boston is more expensive than usual though... D: And now I have more cosplays than I can wear...

however much the tickets are, however much the room is, then for everything else...
$200 for spending at the con itself IF I am empoyed. If not, I'm a bit embarassed to say how little I'll spend.
Then add in about $30 - $50 for food.
Well first there is the individual cost of the tickets/badges which can range from $25-45...

My first and most recent con, my mother paid for the hotel. We stayed at a Super 8 about 10-15 minutes down the highway from the actual con center, so it wasn't expensive.

So far, I haven't spent hundreds of dollars in the dealers' room since it kinda just seems like there is the same stuff everywhere sweatdrop All in all I bring $40-50 to spend on dealers room stuff and that is if I can find something that I really want.

Food? Again, my mother pays for it and we try to find something good, but affordable to dine at.

Cosplaying? Ah it just depends. I spent around $80-90 gathering up things for my last one.
