Depends, I mean I fly out or drive that's 200$, the hotel 200-300$ each night (Split between 2-3 people), the badge. I drop about 400$ in random s**t I want and food. But I'm on vacation after the con too, so I spend more, gas, clubs. I also am going to drink at the con so a bottle, party favors, glow sticks for the rave. So a lot of money in one week. But I'm used to dropping about 300$ every weekend on a normal basis.

I usually spend around 200, and i try not to go higher than 500.. idk i tend to go to only 1 or 2 a year so i end up saving for them during the year xp

the only think i spend money on is the badge and the hotel.

it's expensive enough. i'm not buying their 3$ ghetto half cups of coffee.

The last conv I went to was 2011 AWA. I live really close by so I had no hotel room to buy but I spent about 40 dollars in gas going back and forth to it for 3 days.

I was so happy to be there and was in the cosplay contest that for all 3 days I highly forgot to eat during the whole time and had only 1 meal on each of the 3 days there so that was about 34 dollars there.

For tickets, I helped pay for my friends ticket (which I might add she has not paid me back yet) so including mine for the 3 days 100 dollars.

My cosplay and assc. was about 140 dollars.

The rest of my spending money for the dealers room was 600 dollars

Which came to a total of about $914.

it was about...
45 pre-reg
200 for the room
15 for drinks snacks and food
Then about 250 for the dealers room = u=;;;
160 of that on Doujinshi alone.

My parents normally buy the tickets for me. They have always support me in buying the tickets and getting a hotel room because they know how much Cosplay means to me. But I do have to buy the costumes! Which I agrees with.
Anyways back on subject! For the first couple cons I spent at the con minus the pricing of the cosplay (I can't remember how much I spent on the costume >_< wink would be around $100 for the first few cons. Then when I found out that I liked the figurines, oh....the price went up to probably $250/$300! But hey a con comes only once a year!

It usually ends up costing somewhere in between $300-400 for my hotel share, food, and spending money.

It's totally about $200-$400, not too much, well, the majority of the money I spent on cosplay costume, it was about 70%... rolleyes blaugh
