It's really great to see how well this thread is doing! I find it so annoying when people say things like; larger people should only stick to large characters. It's a load of bull, as long as it's not something like a bikini (which personally I wouldn't wear to a con no matter how thin I was) then what's the problem. Half the time, the get the proportions right up top you can't be stick thin.
Always remember, corsets are your friend! X3

Your cosplays are so cute, Sephiroth! I especially like your Big Card cosplay! What did you use for the make up? Did it last all day? I'm trying to scout for good make up since I'm going to be Doing Vaati from Legend of Zelda Minish cap soon.

Heavy doesn't always mean "OMG the lard! I can't see! You're blocking out the sun!" Heavy is a term I use in general for cosplayers that are curvy, chubby, and weight more than 100lbs soaking wet. BTW Dimentio, I love your cosplay. It's from Rozen maiden right? Did you make it yourself?

And for others, don't be scared to post your cosplays. We're not here to judge and be cruel. That's not allowed on my thread. 4laugh Only compliments and constructive criticism.

You're very good. Im' usually not the one to use much lace in my costumes. For some reason my skin doesn't react well to a lot of laces. I dunno if it's an allergy or something, but I do think Lace in right amounts on costumes can be very nice.

Thanks so much! It's snazaroo face paint with a layer of hairspray on top, it was raining and it managed to stay on all day. I'm not sure about the US but I can get it in any costume shop.
It's really good for blending too, I actually used a dark blue and white to get the right colour and it worked wonderfully. It's just a shame I didn't have a matching costume for my boyfriend that day.
Hopefully I can post pics of my latest ones next month, I'm making Emeraude and Zagato for an expo at the end of next month.

I understand. Lace is appropriate for some costumes, just like satin and velvet. Just not for everything ^^.

Maybe not the greatest fabric choice, but considering that this is the only real reference for the dress available, it's pretty darn good.

You show me a skinny Tsunade, and I'll show you a Tsunade with accuracy issues in the boobie department.

I've met that Tsunade at 3 cons now, I think, haha. She's really nice - she would always stop at our AA table and say hi and just see how things were going. We're hoping to see her again at our next con - it just wouldn't be the same if we didn't! XD

Wow, that Agatha is amazing! Best one I've seen (though I haven't gone looking in a while, admittedly). And Sadira Pookie's Telma always makes me smile. ^_^

I'm thinking about offering a chance for heavy cosplayers to post their pictures here as well as we give cosplay suggestions that are more suited than say Etna from Disgaea, or Heero Yuy from Gundam Wing. Yeah..I thnk I'll do just that!
