Wow I think everyone has a ton of funny stories...especially when there costumes give them trouble.

Funny things?
Well...my friend and I went to watch an Inuyasha episode in one of the rooms! It was really dark. We switched seats a few times to get a better view and then we left. After we left I realized I'd left my gold fan somewhere! I went back inside the dark theatre room with Inuyasha still playing and started wandering around on all fours patting the ground trying to find my fan anywhere on the floor. I never found it but lol some people noticed a geisha crawling around the floor during the episode xD

And welll....I don't know. One time at Anime Long Beach I think, the restaurants were across the street! We were starving and so we went into this tiny COMPLETELY HOT crowded pizza place. Everyone from anime expo was there trying to get a pizza. It was so hot and I was dying in my costume omg. It really sucked but...now I think it's funny lol. And they got my pizza wrong! My friends told me to ignore it but I took it back so they gave me a second one for free! =D

And OMG. My friend and I were in the dealer room. I saw this long braided thing...It was really pretty! I thought they were braid hair extensions, so I asked the guy what it was. He said it was a flogger. I had no idea what that was. He whipped the table with it and told me it was a very nice flogger, and that if my parents ever walked in on me using it with anyone I could always pretend it was a duster. My friend and I were so freaked out we say thanks and ran away quickly lol. We were embarrassed when we realized what if was for.

And at one of the Gaia Panels, people were bouncing beach balls around the room waiting for Lanzer to start speaking. But he just stood at the podium with this hillarious look on his face while the entire crowd of Gaians bounced beach balls. He sort of looked like he was saying "Yes...these are my people. =u= " Lol so funny.

There's tons more funny stories but yup...those are some that come to mind whee

After reading all these stories, I'm a little scared. My friend and I are going to be going the the upcoming Anime Mid-Atlantic. I will be going as Ikuto and my friend will be going as Amu, from Shugo Chara. Thanks to all these tales of random hugs and kisses, i am feeling less excited. this will be my first time going, so any tips?

I know 99% of the people from Anime Festival Wichita are going to Naka-Kon :'< I wanna go so bad Ive missed the past three years due to no money. The one year I CAN go I end up having a newborn baby xD

Anyways~ I think the funniest thing I've ever seen at an anime convention was last year at Anime Festival Wichita I saw two Godots break dancing on the floor. Greatest. Moment. Ever.

At New York Anime Festival:
- During the Soul Eater panel I sat behing a Stein cosplay and the screw in his head constantly got in the way
- We met some creepy fat old lady (like in her 50s) dressed as Jesse from Pokemon. She started to talk to me but I was scared.
- After being in the con center for the first minute I found a Tamaki cosplay and me and my friend ran to glomp them.
- 2 guys ruined a giant conga line because they saw my friend cosplaying as Kaito

We saw this wresting match let and clone superman vs scorpian and sub zero. Lex was mouthing off. He was like that what I did to your mom last night

I wasent cosplaying, i never been to a expo before so i dident realy know if i should or not
So i was walking in the hall, and this random old dude (40s probibly) Comes up behind me and taps me on the sholder. I turned around and said '' Um... yea? o-o" And he says '' Can i take a picture?'' And i said ''Im not cosplaying'' And hesl ike '' Oh... okay bye''
I dident even look like i was cosplaying
I just had a anime shirt on and jeans so idk @_@

At NYAF '08:
Hearing creey dudes scream "RINOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" across the dealer's room when I was walking with my sister, cosplaying Rinoa Heartilly. I promptly told her I was afraid and we ran.

At ICON '09:
As soon as I got a pretzel to eat, a group of girls and were like, "Sakura-chan, can we take-oh wait, we'll let you finish your pretzel!"

At AnimeNEXT '09:
Telling my friend Jennisora, "You WILL ask Princess Tutu for her picture!"

At NYAF '09:
Being tackled by Tamaki from AnimeNEXT from behind and screaming. But it was awesome.

I was with a Marluxia outside the hotel lifts, and some guy came through the door and stole the lift we'd been waiting for for six minutes.

Marluxia promptly grabbed Roxas' keyblade, stopped the doors closing with his foot and ran into the lift yelling 'KEYBLADE RAPE, MORTAL!'

All we heard from the lift-stealer was 'Oh God, at least use lubricaton on that thing!'

He wasn't a cosplayer. He never will be after that either. dramallama

Moonlit Joy

A got two. And one I feel ashamed that I found it so funny.

1. The one I am ashamed of was simple, it was Kumoricon'08 in Portland Oregon. This con is notorious to being home to billions of screaming, nartuard, yaoi fantards. We were walking across the lobby, and we heard an piercing shriek. We turned around to see a before mentioned fan running full blast towards a very scared looking Sasuke cosplayer. Needless to say the 300 pound Heffalump somehow was able to defy gravity and jump, crushing the poor kid. The still-funny-but-less-terrifying part was seeing about ten con-staff appear like ninjas out of no where and kick her a** out; barely anyone had even realized anything had happened.

2. The next one is rather small. It was my first con (incidentally, also Kumoricon) and I was with my friend who was cosplaying as Hello Kitty, (I myself being Light from DN, both of us actually having pretty good costumes.) and she had been to cons a few times. We were in the dealer's room, and she bought both of us a Ramune. Now, never having Ramune before, it meant I also didn't know how to open it. My friend showed me on hers, and started to drink it. For a few minutes I silently struggled to open mine. I couldn't get it, so she had finished hers and proceeded to help me. We both couldn't get it, and it pretty much ended up with a small crowd around us, watching a Hello Kitty and Light, yelling at a Ramune bottle as we desperately tried to open it.

LOL The second one happened to me after Comi-Con XD Me and my friend were at the mall down the street from the convention center still in our cosplays and all our goodies with us and I had bought a Ramune from a Sam Goody store and I couldn't get it open for like 20 minutes XD So me and my friend were standing in the middle of a crowded mall yelling a the Ramune bottle. While everyone was staring at us like WTF

at ndk there was zombies walking around. one came moaning up to me, i glomped the zombie saying, "awwwww your soo cute. i love yous!!! >w<" the zombie started laughing. see zombies can laugh too. xd

There are always so many zombies at NDK. Several years ago I dressed up as Ada Wong and my friend as Claire Redfield from Resident Evil and we did a photoshoot with about 25 zombies that we found wandering around the con. The best part was when they chased people around and around in the revolving door.

There was also a photoshoot at Anime Iowa with all the nintendo characters and somehow it turned into "how many nintendo plushies can we fit under Peach's skirt?" It all came to a climax when a full-sized Wolf-Link tried to crawl in next to Pikachu.

Oooo! I just thought of one!
Me and my friend Sugar11 were at comi-con and she was dressed as Mikoto from school rumble and I just had a makeshift ninja costume on since I was told I was going to comi-con 1 WEEK PRIOR. But anyways my costume was literally being held together by fabric tape and pins and we only had about and 1 hour till we had to leave so my friend who was freaking out cause we hadn't been to any of the anime viewing rooms started running like mad to the view rooms with me trailing behind her in VERY uncomfortable slippery flats the oins sticking in every which way. so this is preety much how the seen played out...

We were also carrying 20 pound bags stare
So it went like that as we bounced from viewing room to viewing room XD
