Fabric Help

So yeah. I need some help figuring out what fabric to use for a summer con that I'm attending.
Plus I'm sort of a novice at sewing clothing. I've only made 1 cosplay and a bunch of toy plushies.

I'm going as MZMA from the Black Rock Shooter Game.

I'm most probably going to be hand-sewing more than 50% of my cosplay, due to the fact my sewing-machine is a piece of garbage. Plus I can't afford a new one.

Handsewing+novice cosplayer+complex full body cosplay= bad news. If you insist on going through with this, though, I'd recommend a rayon knit fabric to get the tight against the body sort of feel to it.

Thanks, for the suggestion. No worries, since I'm getting help from my grandmother. She's a seamstress and is now letting me borrow her sewing-machine (less hand-sewing, thank goodness).
