@Yumi: Yup, very annoying.

@Arrow: If it helps, here's some basic French phrases:

"Je Voudrais..." = I would like

"S'il Vous Plait" = Please

So for example, if you're in a cafe and would like to order some chicken, cake and coffee, you'd say "Je Voudrais le poulet, le gâteau et le café, s'il vous plait"

I am... - Je Suis...
I am tired - Je suis fatigué (Pronounced fatty-gay, not how you think it may be)
I am hungry/thirsty - J'ai faim/soif

I'd write more but I'm lazy. I'd reccomend Linguascope, if only that wasn't a paid subscrition usually only avaliable to schools. D:
