@Arrow: I would buy it there,but I'm not going to the Midlands Expo. 2 months just doesn't seem like enough time to get prepared, imo.

@ Fuffy - i can read japanese xd maybe i should translate it (j/k) i would be able to tell you what it says but not what the japanese means if you get what i mean. sad i have only been learning it for a year and a half.

That's great news about Feb! I doubt I'll be able to go, but somehow I'm very happy it's back!

I feel kinda bad about the Zetsubou Sensei manga...if I wanted it, I could get it easily sweatdrop Have you ever ordered from the Amazon based in the states, Osaka? It might come quicker if the books can go straight to where you are instead of Amazon US-> Amazon UK-> You?

And I also meant "Get prepared" as in save up and stuff like that.

@Yumi: Yeah, I only ever order from UK-based Amazon. Still takes ages to get there.
I pre-ordered Death Note: Another Note from there, and it arrived about a month after the UK release date! gonk
Could try RightStuf as well, but they don't accept PayPal and I've sort of given up on my Debit Card now, I think the form I sent to the bank to apply for one got lost in the post. D:

Aah, I see. Amazon UK was good for me the (one) time I ordered from them...came in a week or so. But that must have been one of my "lucky shipping" times since it kinda varies because I'm cursed or something.

At the mention of French! Out of curiosity, who's still on for Japan Expo in Paris? I remember a few people said that they're going....

@Yumi: Or maybe I was unlucky.
My mum insists on using Super Saver delivery, so that might be why it took blimmin' ages.
Dunno if Super Saver is even available for imports,but if it is, I'm gonna force mother to use one of the pay-shippings anyway. That way it might actually get there in time for May.
The second volume might be trickier though. Because that actually is out in May.
And writing that makes me feel like such a child. Getting my mum to order for me and all.
Not my fault I still haven't received my debit card when I applied for one months ago. DX
And.. how old do you have to be for an Amazon account anyway? ninja
Because the student card-thingy I got from college says you can get money off at Amazon. And a majority of the people who start there are 16.

Nah, I'm not going to Japan Expo, as much as I'd love to visit France I can't really afford it.

Hahaha, same same, my mom always wants the super saving shipping thing too xp I don't even have a student card (laaaaame, we don't get such things) or a debit card so I have no idea, my parents order everything sweatdrop I've never imported anything, so I can't help ya there. Sounds like such a hassel...if I could order it for you, I would but I dunno how we'd do that.

I think the application for the debit card was misleading. Because it was posted to me from my local bank, and my details (minus my account number) were printed on. I just had to sign and send it,but the card also said to change any mistakes or if any changes to the details printed had been made. And it just as well happened to have put me down as a male instead of a female. So I changed that.
So I bet because I changed it to female they think I'm an imposter who just wanted some innocent male-teenager-with-a-rather-girly-name's bank details! gonk
