@Xeiya: Depends what you want to buy. There's sci-fi and comics, manga, anime, wall scrolls, posters, plushies, collectors cards, cosplay & lolita, random japanese snacks, artwork and a whole lot more.

Food & drinks are expensive probably because it's convenient for expo goers therefore they can raise the price up a bit. I can't remember the correct term [too much work, brain's gone dead] but it shows I've been listening in Business Studies ;P

That's exactly the kind of thing I was hoping for ^_^ thank you.
I was looking at the convention website and I wasn't sure whether I'd be interested in much of it so I was hoping there'd be lots of stuff to buy; it wouldn't matter if nothing else was of interest to me since I'm only going in the first place because Gaia's going to be there and I can meet a friend.

Komapsunida - Maybe I'll cosplay next time if I enjoy it. Since it's my first convention and I'll be going by myself I think it'd be better if I don't cosplay, it'll be strange enough for me without people staring at me. ^_^;

The one in London happens every may and october. The one in the midlands is in September. (as far as I know, I never go to the Midlands ones!)

So are people going to meet on Sunday as well this October or just Saturday? I can't come on Saturday so I hope it's both!!! I'm going to bring lots of muffins and food stuffs so *bribes*

Oh and someone said earlier that if the gaia panel thing is at 11 people in the normal queue won't be able to get there. O.o wow, you'd have to be pretty late and almost RIGHT at the back! It's not THAT bad! In fact once I beat my friend to the front of the line who had bought a fast track ticket!!! heart

I may be able to borrow my sister's old Road Camelot cosplay or I have a Misa one (Death Note) but I dunno. We'll see. I may bring my water meat this cosplay too. You guys can see it, I made it myself. xD

I'm gonna do black jacket ed elric since the red jacket is overdone. Plus, I ruined the black jacket and did the non-red one accidentally. xD

I'm not a great Death Note fan anyway. I hate nearly all of the characters. Matt's alright since he didn't do anything wrong. Mello used bad methods and Near's just a pain in the arse. L was ok, but he was just annoying at times. Light's plain evil and Misa shoulda stayed away from Light. XD Sorry. xD

I've got to agree with you, after reading it through the once I really don't see what everyone is still raving about. Yeah it was a good series and I enjoyed reading it but I doubt I'll every read it again now I'm done with it and I just can't be bothered with the anime. (I honestly don't get what's so amazing about the movie either.)
In terms of characters, L was ok but I just don't get why there's such a huge fan base for him and Light was the only one I really liked but that was really just cause I wanted him to kill Near and shut him up.

Yeah, so it won't be looked down on by the overcosplayed-haters as much. Lmao. Plus, hopefully I'll be accompanied by Alphonse IN ARMOUR 8D You don't see that often. xD

Death Note...I'll prolly never read it again either, it was interesting to start with but got boring.

I'm also gonna do Kadaj with my friends too, who are going as Loz and Yazoo and we shall be looking for Mother. I'll prolly make a Jenova box thingy too lmao.

I wanted Light to put Near out of his misery. I like Near for being a goodie but he just got on my nerves.

I wanna go to Tuebingen for my year abroad next year and hopefully there'll be expos around. 8D German cosplay ftw!

True, just I have RAM on Saturdays (Royal Academy of Music) which I can't skip but the half term is the week after. It's such a pain. whee

TFL isn't exactly smart though. If you think about it. Why have all the works during the half term when people travel about? I don't understand?!
