I hope I make expo friends this year...never really talked to anybody before...

I made at least half of my expo friends in the ticket and masquerade queue xD

When my friends and I were in line for tickets, two people kept coming up and hugging one of my friends just because "he's the first american they've ever met"(he's got a really loud voice, s'why they heard him), but I wouldn't call them friends xd

I'm strangly outgoing at expos (I'm usually really shy xD) so I just start talking to the people around me, offering pocky around also helps alot. Me and Fluffy also to alot of masquerade performances, so we're not nervous anymore about going on stage and we always talk to the people in the performance queue to try and stop them being nervous :3

I think we're making a start on my Orohime outfit aswell sometime soon =D

Gosh, I envy people who can make their own cosplay outfits. >.>; My Anbu!Itachi outfit is almost done now... I just need to find myself a sword. Any ideas from anyone? Heck, it doesn't even have to be a real one, lol, just something that could stay in its holder (on meh back) would do the trick.

I'm more of a fanart-Anbu!Itachi this year, so I have a nice spiffy parasol.

EDIT: Anyone planning to go as a Sasuke? I need to glomp someone and get some photo-proof of the brotherly-lurrrrve. >.>

I remember going as Sasuke last may, one of my friends went as Itachi with the sharingan contacts in, he kept standing right behind me, it was so creepy. And jumping me yelling "You can't escape brotherly love!"

Lmao, You know, I think I might have seen you both -- (although I couldn't attend the gaia meetup) -- the Itachi I saw had some uberly-spiffeh contacts in, although he was rather shy when we asked if we could take some photos. sweatdrop

Although I guess anyone would be a little speechless if you had a fangirl trying to ram a camera lens in your eye to take some photos. >.>

He was the one that cut his hair at about midnight on the saturday night and went as Rock Lee on the sunday xD

Woah... now THAT'S dedication! xD

He hadn't told his parents either, so he got home and they were like: O_____________O We're going to the hairdressers, right now!

I haven't even had a chance to go to the Telford ones *cry* last year in September we were moving on the weekend of the expo (pretty weird, isn't it? Moving on the EXACT weekend...xD). Why do it in September anyway, isn't it like, a week or two after the October expo? I think they should put it in February or November...but it is still a loooong way away (timewise). Anything could happen. One of us could win the lottery.

aah, i haven't even started my costume yet....I have no idea how to start either. I need to re-learn how to use a sewing machine crying Tomorrow we're going shopping for the buyable stuff, though. I hope I don't crew it up once I start making it ><

Awe, have some confidence. I'm sure you'll do fine.
And maybe it's a good idea to start out with some practise material, or material scraps on the sewing machine.

I made nearly all my expo friendys on here. GO GAIANS. we are obviously the best con-goer-peoples. other friends i have made tend to be stalkers (a certain Link cosplayer...), people I meet in Qs, people I glomp (Kaoru + Hikaru), people in the Masqerade (a Mew Ichigo, a Zidane and an amazingly awesome OC) and randomers with Free Hug signs.

haha! I had a fringe cut in yesterday. Just coz it makes it easier for me to dye my hair instead of spending all my cash on wigs.
My wig is dead now and ive only had it Since may! Its been so badly looked after. sad

Oh ok its just I wouldn't want to dress as Orihime when you already have one especially as you say I can hang about with you unless you dont mind doubles, perhaps I'm seeing things differently.
