At Anime boston last year, I cosplayed as Sig Cirtus from Fullmetal Alchemist. I was walking down the hallway towards the artists area and I was accidentaly pushed into an innocent walkerby headed in the same direction. I immediately turned to apologize and saw that the person I had bumped into was (you've probobly guessed by now) someone cosplaying as Izumi Cirtus. Her physique matched the character and everything. Needless to say we ended out hanging out for the rest of the convention day. Wonder if I'll see that person again this year.

Anywho, if you have any akward and/or funny moments from a convention that you want to share, go ahead and post it here.

I was at a small local con last summer and let's just say I wore underwear appropriate for wearing a leotard because I was going to be dressed as a female Green Lantern. When I got there there was a problem with the green lantern one so I wore my back-up costume which had a skirt.

Now the venue was Dave & Busters and the change room was downstairs just past the lazer tag are. The lazer tag is full of fog machines, so that hallway was full of fans.

Long story short, I had a Marilyn Monroe moment and my skirt blew up and I flashed a huge group of Storm Troopers. sweatdrop
I was at Florida Supercon two years ago and I was cosplaying Reno from Final Fantasy VII. My friend was also with me, he was dressed as Rude from the same game.

In the Advent Children film there's a funny clip when Reno whips his baton backward and accidentally whacks Rude in the face-- while my friend and I were in line ordering some Ramune, I was twirling my baton and accidentally hit him in the face.

I hadn't known he was standing directly behind me.

It was hilarious because not only was it a complete accident, it was in character. C:
I was LSU this past weekend doing a photoshoot with my Megaman X cosplay, which looks kind of ridiculous and out there, if I do say so myself.

Not only were student/teacher-passerbys giving me thumbs up everywhere, there were tons of snipes shots on cell phones taken.

The best was when this guy started walking towards me, making a ten minute hike just to tell me how awesome I look. Then later, he and his friends started yelling my name from across the street and I waved, and they gaggled like fricken' teenage girls. "AWMIGOD, SHE WAVED," etc etc etc.
