Yeah, I didn't really have that option xd At Otakon, I will 1) be able to change out of my kimono sooner and 2) will make sure to have socks I can wear with the boots rofl

GAH, you're so lucky you get to go to Otakon. I want to go now because I found out Kanon Wakeshima (vocalist for the ending theme of Vampire Knight and Vampire Knight Guilty) is making her U.S. debut there this year. I really wanna go now. crying

sorry to make you feel out of place ^^;;; if i didnt plan a inu yasha gathering an hour before the meetup i would be in lolita xD. I did find you though so i'm happy ^^. i was like yay its jayara! xD. I definitely need signs at and near the meetup area for next year decorate it with little grunnies, cocos, and kikis and have in big letters "gaia meetup".

It's alright. It's not like anyone meant it that way. wink Just saying that that might have been why some of the non-cosplay peoples shyed away. I was glad that I got to run into you though for a bit if just to say hi at least.

that was a fun meet up...i wasnt sure were to meet at first...me and my buddy was lookin around for an hr lookin for the place...but we found it...it was fun...thx for ur help Zero!!!! i went as Laharl and i was wondering for those that took pics of us on the stairs...does any1 know where/how i can find the sites for the pics??? thx for every1 that showed it was great seein every1!!!!

i need some creative ideas for things to do at the panel

Well, you'd probably start with a brief intro for the newbies as to what Gaia is.

As for other stuff:
- Discuss what's current for the storyline at the time
- When it gets closer to next year, maybe try and get a hold of a higher up mod or Gaia's PR and see if they have any suggestions or topics that could be used for the panel
- Maybe "Topic in a Hat"?
Basically audience members jot down topics or odd/funny lines of discussion on a piece of paper, toss them into a hat, and then the panel peoples at the table read the slip and give their thoughts on it.
- contests usually go over fairly well

Personally, I think it would be hilarious/awesome to have the panel members dress up as the Gaia npcs, but that's just me. XD I'm sure there's other things that could be done for a panel, but it's still early to come up with anything. I'd be willing to try a panel if Gaia doesn't do an official one next year and if I got help. *nods*
