~*Funny Cosplay/Convention Stories*~

At JaCon in Orlando this past spring, me, my freinds, and about 3000 con-goers were waiting lined up outside of the rave at two o'clock in the morning. The rave was supposed to start at midnight, and they hadn't even started letting people in yet, so all the Anons and arrogant ravers (along with everyone else) were getting pretty obnoxious because we were sick of waiting in that line.

We were lined up around the side of one of the buildings, but apparently, we were blocking the path. (Even though it was where everyone was told to stand). So an angry con volunteer came running through trying to get everyone to line up against hte wall and clear a path by yelling, "TO THE WALLS!!"...

I got to watch 3000 people all spontaneously burst out singing "Get Low" at the same time... the volunteers just gave up and let us in. XD

Well, for the hell of it, everyone decided to pick Vegeta. Of course, the announcer in the game calls out everyone's name. "Vegeta! Vegeta! Vegeta! Vegeta!"

My friend Robert and I just look at each other for a moment, and ask this of the room: "Hey, Vegeta, what does the scouter say about his power level?" The entire room, 30+ people, replies with "ITS OVER NINE THOUSAND!!"

Apparently, we were very good teachers.

jajaja my best friend has that game and we constantly pick repeated characters. as for a fun memory.....last convention a bunch of friends and I went as Bleach taichos and fukutaichos. due to the fact that we were such a large group, we were asked to go introduce ourselves at the front of the cosplay room in between contests, and when the presentator got to Hitsugaya she was like: "so you were lucky to have such a short boy for this character. What's your name pal?" all the group started laughing, as our Hitsu was actually a girl
It was funnier at the moment...

Hm... funniest thing that has happened to me, was probably at AFO last year. I passed a random Mello cosplayer and I just happened to be talking about chocolate cake with my friend. And then Mello turns around and screams chocolate (like from Sponegebob). I almost fell over the second he did it.

I brought hershey kisses with me at one con ( i seriously forget which one) and there was someone as mello, and i was just giving em out for free but he ran up to me and was like "hidannn! i'll do anything for u if u give me some chocolateeeee" xD poor guy, i gave him them for free but ofc i got a huge hug in return xd

At my recent con, one moment stands out.
There was a Shippuden Naruto, and they were really well made. A bunch of Akatsuki started chasing after him - like, actually, CHASING him or her. And they ran around a lot, and then gradually a crowd joined in trying to film it and get pictures. The Akatsuki were yelling and screaming the whole way xD It was hilarious to watch.

I have a bunch of stories!!!
(All at AX 2009)
- I was walking by and I noticed the MGS4 Snake walking by a little ways from me, and he had a Halo helmet in his hand and he looked like he was gonna toss it like a bowling ball right at me, and I made it look like it hit me and I fell over. He laughed. It was funny.

- I fangasmed when I saw Pyramid Head, so I took a picture with him when everyone was too scared to get close. Later that day, I went back and hugged him ! Haha.

- There was a Light cosplayer which had "Michael Jackson" written in his Death Note. It was hilarious.

- The huge moving Summoning Rock almost ran me over~

- There was a huge line of Narutards following the leader Jiraiya. They got alot of attention.

- I wanted to take a picture of *****, and when I went to him to ask for a picture, he grabbed my shoulder and he insisted on me being in the picture, so I made my friend take the picture. It was funny! ***** was really warm and softttt. whee

- I noticed another Solid Snake in a box moving around, and when I yelled "SNAKE!" He stopped moving and crouched down. Heehee.

Ive never actually been to any conventions... but me and my friend were planning to take a road trip to all the random cons across the country after highschool!

I was at one con leaving the door with my friend. I was cosplaying in my Anemone dress and since it is short and wide it tends to get stuck through doors. While we were going through some nice guy opened the door for us. My friend went through and I was going through with a smile and a thank you when he suddenly pushed me up against the door. O _O';;
He proceeded to say "No problem" and whatnot while trying to flip up my skirt and sniff my neck. Talk about uncomfortable.
In the end I got out and went away but was it ever the scariest moment of my life! > _<';;


OKAY FUNNY NAO:
Two hot guys comparing who I looked best next to (I was cosplaying as Jill Valentine, so if you don't get the story you probably haven't played the games. = _= ). Then they laughed and went together and said, "How about us together? Like BL?"
So I squeezed between them and laughed. "Or even better, me in the middle... like a Jill sandwich!"
One ran away pinching his nose. C=

hn... not extreamly funny but...

i saw a fat black guy cosplaying as inuyasha, it was actually pretty awesome...

oh, and once i was tramatised^w^ always fun. well there was this girl being sexy jutsu naruto (with shorts and a headband covering boobs) but the headband fell just as i was looking over...

lesse, what else... i was crossplaying as kiba once and a girl came up to me saying she was my girlfriend o.O

I got glomped my itachi without warningXD and later on i returned the favor XD

(when i was kiba) Orochimaru came up, gave me candy and asked my to go to his van

one day i was kiba with my little akamaru doll and several people asked for pictures, the next day i left akamaru at home and nobody asked for a pic... hn...

me and my friends started chanting ninja (when we were first in line to the rave at katsucon) and everyone joined in (even staff people) and it went on for like 20min

At Akon this year somebody yelled out ' MARCO' and EVERYONE else (like 1000 people) Yelled 'POLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111one!"
I got a picture with the mushrooms and *****. ***** was nice. I gave him candy...

My friend and i went to a carnival on halloween and she dressed up as L from death note. A little kid came up to her and asked, "Are you one of the Jonas brothers?"
