SBC is awsome but the parental control things are a pain in the a**

um...what parental controls? if there are any then either a:

a.) STOP TRYING TO LOOK AT PORN!!

or if its really bad and not letting u go to random sites

b.) find some perfectly appropriate site that it blocks then show ur parents how it keeps you from going regular places and ask them to please take it off

either way...stop trying to look at porn blaugh

There is a problem with that service though. You do not get constant 5/15/30 MBPS downloads. Only from servers capable of generating them. Even the home users will be limited with their service to a 5 upspeed which means to send to each other would still be limited to 5. The only thing which would go above 5 would be sites with uncapped download speeds.

I get 3.0 mbps downstream and it's nearly impossible to saturate my bandwidth from single users. Of -course- you're not going to get 30 mbps from a single user. However, things like torrents, P2P apps, etc. have no problem making a few hundred connections if need be.

The really nice thing about this service is that it will force T1 pricing down. Yes, T1 lines are synchronous, and FiOS is asynch; but 5/2 service, even asynch, is comparable to a T1, except maybe when you consider latency. I'd like to see a T1 for 50$ a month.
