I don't see why you guys think "I" started the argument.
Maybe because... you did.
Your first post in this thread? I'll quote it here.

I just got a new hard drive in my Toshiba that had this problem. Are you able to use the cursor? Can you restart your computer at all? (mine couldn't restart without me pressing the power button) , granted this wasn't the only problem I had. Do you have any blue screen errors at all? Do you hear any clicking ?
I'd suggest, if you call the company and they tell you to reformat (not reboot, that's restarting your computer by letting it go off then back on...reformat=remove and replace the OS) , BACK UP ALL DATA, AND TRY AGAIN! If that fails, call them back, and they can try to help you from there.
Not to crash your parade but Reboot is the same as reformat and there's a word for restart, restart/turn off/on. Reboot means to erase previous actions and start anew.
Look at that. It's you, starting the argument because you thought a phrase meant something else.
Microsoft itself even says reboot means to shut down and start back up.

EDIT: I should point out that the article is titled "Fix blue screen (STOP) errors which cause Windows Vista to reboot" when found through the KB search function, as seen here.

END EDIT.
Like I said, if you can't accept being wrong you're going to have a terrible time here.
