Windows 7 Ultimate BSOD (NOT SOLVED)

I got the BSOD right after I closed WPE, when I closed it, firefox crashed (that was the program it was capturing packets from).

I'm trying to figure out what caused it and how to fix it.

Program I used to get the logs was BlueScreenView.

OK so you're asking what? Are you asking what caused it? Or what you can do to fix it? Or are you showing people that Win 7 can crash to promote Macs? What is it?

Maybe you shouldn't have windows 7 when you have firefox. I have internet explorer and firefox and i just get on firefox. Well I have safari too but I don't get on eaither if firefox works but if it doesnt then i got on one of the other 2.

windows 7 sucks i think window 94 is better i know it cause my dad have windows 7

Well, you either have some sort of hardware issue (first place would be memory) or you have a faulty driver on yours system. The type of failure you had is known as a double fault where one fault is thrown right after the first one and they cannot be handled serially.

I would try updating all of your drivers on your computer, especially those for any recently installed hardware if you added more hardware.

If that doesnt fix it, I would do a memory scan which the tool is built into Windows 7. It is under Administrative tools in the control panel. Run that and it will restart your computer and run the memory diagnostic tool. See what that turns up.

Windows 7 and Firefox are fine. I use Firefox on Windows 7 Professional on my netbook and Ultimate on my desktop and have never once had an issue.

Now that I really read over what you posted, it seems like the two programs crashed one after the other, throwing a double fault which caused that blue screen. Has it happened more than once?

Alot of the times BSoD's happen its either a driver support issue or incompatible software. I would make sure the WPE can run in Windows 7. Also maybe try running it in 32-bit mode. I'd give that a go.
