I play a lot of league of legends but i want to play command and conquer generals 2 when it comes out, or diablo 3. Dont care to play games like battlefield 3 that i can just run on my xbox.

The computer i have now doesn't have a dedicated graphics card and is about 4 years old and although it plays league of legends ok i can't have the settings very high.

I want something cheap though. I don;t need alienware or anything.

Just coming here for some opinions. I was thinking the amd vision black computers that combine the cpu and gpu would be pretty cheap and good for what i want. Or would it be better to get a slower dedicated gpu that is separate?

Laptops only.

First of all, you need to give a price range (and currency) that you're looking at. Just saying "something cheap" could mean different things to different people.

Also, you're asking about what hardware you'll need for games that haven't even been released yet. Nobody here can make any guarantees about what the minimum system requirements will be for those games. We won't know until the game has been released and tested on a variety of configurations.

I have an Acer Aspire 5732Z

I can play LOL. (Thought,I dont want to XD)
My laptop can also run COD4(Which I tried.)
And GTA:SA. You know...
I bought it in Israel for 2000 shekels. 540 USD.
Try

and get the $100 CPU upgrade and all the free upgrades. It will be a significant gaming upgrade. Dell does not have anything with dedicated graphics under $700. Lenovo doesn't have anything for light gaming.

If you like acer

Without paying big $$ for a laptop, the best graphics you will get are on the AMD A8 or higher end A6s. You get that at the price of everything else being somewhat slower though. Here is a review of the highest end desktop A8. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/amd-a8-3850-llano,2975.html

You will note you will have a laptop part, not a desktop and they don't seem to offer the highest end A8 on any site right now.

My Acer Aspire 5734Z-4836 Laptop is GREAT. I've had it a year and it hasn't given me ANY problems, and it runs games like Minecraft superbly. n.n
