Before you make judgments, please hear me out! ... Or. umm.. Read me out!

Okay, so I got a mic for Online games. And I want to try it out for zOMG. So I download that thing Gaia offer so it can work and it does. However, people were saying they could hear my side of sound and music. And that confuse me because I was wearing headsets.

Okay, in zOMG I went to shop and test out the Voice Font to see if it really making my side of sound with me wearing my headset. And it did. I heard them. At first I thought, "Oh! It might be zOMG or that thing Gaia asked us to download" But I thought I might give it an other test.

This time, I wear my headset and do not talk into the mic. This time, I play a music from YouTube. Not in my mind it should play the music off from zOMG when I'm useing head set, but it did.

Then I use my final test to be sure what's going on. I went off of Gaia, kept my headset on. Then opened up a program that came with my Window XP called, Sound Recorder. I click record, did not say anything, and play a music again. Then I try it out and it seems it recorded the music.

Now, how is the suppose to however when I'm wearing headsets? Is there someway I can fix this so that people could only hear my voice instead of the sounds my computer makes?

Double-click the volume icon in the bottom-right.
Options - Properties - Choose "recording" and press OK.
Make sure the checkbox is under "microphone", and not some sort of mix option.

Okay... The checkbox doesnt say "microphone"

Hmmmm.... Still confuse... Trying to test out different things... Still not working.... sweatdrop

The checkbox should be under "microphone".

Under recording, check the three boxes and then press okay.
