This is a tempalte I did for my friend. It looks kind of n00bish because it's for his web design class, which I took last eyar, and I don't blame him for asking me to make him a template. Teacher's a b***h. So anyway's made this template for him, and he asked me too make it look like it was made form a tutorial so the teacher would think he followed a tutorial. I personally think it came out ncie for something that should look soemwhat crappy. XD

It doesn't look too bad. I generally like sites that are that style, and I personally think its a job well done.

I think it looks pretty nice.
Except that the content spills over the footer, so the footer ends up being in like the middle of the page when there's much content.
I suppose this is a problem with using the absolute positioning.

But that doesn't really fix it, and it's kinda messy, honestly.
I mean, you could make it a pretty cool still if you used floating.

edit: Rabbitprince, I'm not sure if there's a thread for that. Maybe start one.
And you can remove the "best viewed in Internet Explorer" label on the lemon website, I think. It works right on firefox, so, eh.

I really like it! Maybe use different headers, i.e. put the title (coal, natural gas, etc.) on top, make it skinnier and optimize the bitmap, it tkaes a while to load. Otherwise, this is great!


Though you need to fix this on the main page.

The sidebar is stuck on the far right and it's not aligned right with other stuff. Under firefox, this is fixed by changing

#sidebar {
float:right;
margin:10px 0 0;
}

to

#sidebar {
float:left;
margin:15px 0 0 15px;
}

Edit: Under IE it's worse, and the sidebar is stuck on the bottom..

That's a really nice website. Fully awesome, and even the code is really neat.

Zamboni's right though about the footer thing. And it will always be a problem as long as it's one image ("introTextBG.gif" wink like that; I recommend that you do something like snip off the bottom of the image and put it below the content in the code, or maybe create a little division below the content with that in it (which would make it smaller and also changeable).

Not sure what his is, but I'm certain that it will happen all all browsers if the font size is increased. On firefox at 1024x768, the default size makes it do that.

As I said, this is because the footer thing is part of an image, which is a bit iffy ( http://www.virtualsciencefair.org/2006/wong6j2/introTextBG.gif ). It needs to be changed.
