OH and do try to get windows on it, you can play more games with windws and still keep the nice feel of a MAC laptop while you're at it

If you're going for a gaming Mac, then the general rule of thumb would be not to get one with integrated graphics. This means not to get one with a 9400M GT (the exception to which could be the higher end Macbook Pros which also include the 9600M GT which has dedicated video memory). It would also be wisest to install Windows on a partition for games which cannot be played on Mac OS X....

Your best choices are the Mac Pro (expensive, don't pay for extra RAM, it's best to add it in yourself), the Macbook Pro (Get one with the 9600M GT, and don't purchase more than 4 GB of RAM), or one of the higher end iMacs (One without a 9400M GT)....

Also, do yourself a favor and don't capitalize the whole thing...

MAC usually implies this, while Mac refers to a computer built for Mac OS X...

Did you have any certain games in mind? You should probably pick out a few Mac-specific games before you decide to pour a few thousand dollars into a gaming laptop.

I may look cute, I may not look tough,
But my friends all know, I can play rough.

Yes, get a $1600 toy that explodes every other time you turn it on just to play games when your PC probably just needs an $80 video card upgrade. Brilliant.

Explodes? I know of no Mac which has explosives with it....

My Quad-Core MacPro says very different thank you kindly. Seems to run all those lovely Cider warped games like Spore, City of Heroes, and EVE Online just fine thanks. CrossOver also seems to be moving forward very well at getting very popular games like Team Fortress 2 to run without needing to buy and install Windows as a secondary OS (did that too with a cheaper old copy of Windows XP just get some more games).

Seems to run just fine under Windows as well, although I do need to turn on my fan control software before booting into Windows.

I guess it comes down to what your other needs are. Do you need to be portable or are okay with a stationary desktop.

Got a good number of people playing EVE Online with MacBook Pros in both OSX and Windows modes. With extra RAM (the key to any good Mac, and not necessarily bought through Apple) they seem to be doing just fine.
