Alright, so it's around that time where I have to replace the lead of my tablet pen.

Now, the thing is: I don't know nor have any idea how to take it out. I Googled it, and someone said to take it out with a pair of tweezers, but I'm too scared. D: I tried, and I got the feeling that if I continued, the lead would snap. x.x;

Anyone have any idea how to take it out? Properly, that is. v.v;

It's a Wacom Bamboo Fun! small sized tablet btw. o.o; Not sure if that even helps.. >.>;

What ARE you talking about?

what part of the pen needs replacing???

When I got my TouchSmart, I asked about issues and warranty deals with the pen. They told me HP would replace the pen, so I believe the whole pen is replaced, not just a specific part.

Erm, the little white lead. o.o When I bought my tablet, it came with 3 extra white leads. x:

See the tip? It's like that, except it's white. And over time, the "lead" starts to wear out. D: And so, I need to replace it.

so HOW much do you use it?

There should have been a tool that came with the tablet to change them, or instructions.

<_<...

If there was an instruction booklet about the pen, maintaining it and such, I wouldn't be posting this. D:

Edit: I'll check the instruction disc.

Edit 2: Well, I found the User's Manual in my comp, but the PDF has a password. D: *sad fais*

@Chronic

I know I could always replace it and get a new one, but I know there must be SOME way to replace the "lead".

Now that I think of it, I could always send Wacom an email. x:

We didn't start the fire.

The only way I've been told is with tweezers and I'm too scared to do that...

My tablet pen gets more blunt with each day... Maybe just try with the tweezers, it couldn't hurt right?

It was always burning since the world's been turning.

If you just grabbed my booty, please bump here thanks <3

Tweezers are too small.

Use pliers. Or anything that can get a good grip on the nib, and it should come out smoothly.

My Kingdom hearts/Final Fantasy Pokemon AU fancomic. I s**t you not, and wish I were kidding, but ... please give it a shot anyway?

Nahh don't worry. Get some pliers, grab it and pull straight out. Do not bend the "lead", just pull straight out and push a new one in.

Pencils have lead (or graphite)
Pens have nibs.

We're talking about pens here, so it is a nib.

Sometimes there are nib removing tools, or use pliers. It is best to try and find specific instructions for your pen though.

This image is not porn or warez, it was a drawing of a spider.
I have the same model as you. The instructions that came with mine say just to pull the nib out with tweezers, but I think pliers would probably be better.

Ye I have the same model.

DO NOT twist the pen [talking to OP here], don't bang it or hit it or anything, just grab some pliers and pull it straight out. I've changed the nibs on mine before.
