I'm looking at the system requirements for Sims 2, and it says 800 MHz
processor or better with a T&L capable video card, 2.0 GHz processor or
better with a non-T&L capable video card. How do I find out if my card is
T&L capable?

What kind of card do you have? I believe anything ATI greater than Radeon 7500 is T&L, and any GeForce3 and up is good. These are just guesses though, don't go out and buy the game based upon what i just said.
