here is the original topic Here. It crashed the other night while my dad was typing someting. I couldn't get into the BIOS. althought i didn't try f1. everytime i tried the internal spearker just beeps. So if i do get in, you think it's the power? too much?

Write down the beeps like morse code. A line or dash for long beeps, and a dot for short ones.

Check the manufacturer's site for your motherboard's beep codes.

That'll tell you what's wrong.

will it really? besides the beep only sounds when i press a button during start up.

In that case, it's only beeping at you because you're holding the key down. Press it a few times instead of just jamming it down.

i tried that too, i don't usually "jam" it unless it is a lat resort.
