Program to record screen and webcam?

❝I'm going to be making a gaming channel on YouTube.
I was wondering if there is a program/s to record
your screen, and webcam simultaneously?
Or maybe an editing program so I can add that later?

Edit: Any personal opinion/experience with the program would be great!
I'd love to hear someone's view of how it runs, and how effective it is

I did google it. I got some Yahoo! Questions as my result.
Obviously I typed in something a bit different.
Though when I clicked on the link provided, I just got an error.

Nevertheless, I was looking for the best one, not just any random one that popped up.
I always like getting a program that someone actually has personal experience with.

No need to get on your high horse.

If you have some kind of problem with it, than don't do it.

I recorded the screen, saved it. Than when I went to view the video, it was just blank for 2 minutes.

I've deleted the program since.
I had it over 2 months ago.
Just haven't looked into it for awhile, because I recently moved.
Now that I have settled in.. I want to start up the channel again.

Though I am pretty sure it was this program.

Edit: Graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580

Yeah. And I know it's definitely not my graphics card.
This is custom built to play all the newer games and such..
So I have no idea why it wouldn't work

If u want a good one u can use frabs but the free frabs only dose 30 sec clips and i think u should check the done to death sticky i think there is a few in there.

small note not all games will work with fraps i am not 100% sure what the limits to fraps are check the homepage of the site i know they say it i just have not checked in sometime.

Camstudio is pretty good and free. Also Fraps as the person above me said, but it is a paid program. Though I must say, when it comes to recording games, Fraps is the best choice.

Camstudio doesn't work for me.
Have no idea why.

You can use FRAPS to record gameplay footage.

As for recording the webcam, I remember doing it in Windows Movie Maker, so if you can't get your hands on something better, you can always use the old standard.

If you have a secondary microphone, use it instead. Using a webcam's microphone results in poor quality. But if you don't have another mic you don't have a choice really.

FRAPS costs money doesn't it, though?
If it's not too pricey, I'll get it. Though if it's more than $25.. probably not.
