Product Key For Powerpoint and Word

When I first recieved this computer as a Christmas present three years ago, I tried setting up Word and Powerpoint for school projects. Well it said something about a 25 digit product key which i would have recieved on the back of some CD case that supposedely came with the computer or on a cirtificate of authenticity which was supposed to some with the computer. I didnt get either one of those. And now I really need it because my boyfriend wants me to view a school project on Powerpoint for him and I'm not able to do that. Is there any other way I can get a product key for FREE?

Most likely what came on your computer was a 30/45/60/90 day trial, and now you need to pay since the trial period is up.

If all you need to do is view it, microsoft offers a free powerpoint viewer program.

No, giving you a product key would be illegal....

However you can use Open Office to view the files. It makes a great alternative, as long as you don't need publisher....

Lol I know how to use a search engine, hun. Just wasnt sure EXACTLY what I'd be looking for. 3nodding

cannot! every product key is attached to that specific software. Such as windows. You cannot use another person's product key because that product key is set to that specific computer. You could go to a computer store and buy the CD (Microsoft Office)

Not true!
you can get a different CD/DVD key for a program and in most cases it still will work.
If the case is lets say a Windows editon like Windows 7, then it won't work. Because you have to register it through the internet.
Me and my friends shared CD/DVD keys all the time and it worked.(We both had the programms but just dislocated the CD/DVD keys)
