Printer Problem

Hello. I own a 4-in-1 Brother Printer. When I need to print an assignment I press print on Microsoft word, when the printer is on. But it won't print! The last time this happened I turned on the printer the next day and it printed out. That didn't happen this time. Does anyone know what is happening.

Hrm. Printer's connected into your computer directly, right? Does it have a little printer icon in the corner by the clock when you hit print?

No but it has an Icon that signals it is on.

Check the printing que and see if it has any error messages under the status bar (or whatever it is called on your system)

right click on my computer
click properties
click device manager
see if the printer is listed and check the driver.


i would reinstall the driver and see what happens
