pc cleaner and other paid versions

do they really work any better than free versions of programs such as ccleaner? does it really fix more registry and optimize programs and other computer issues or does this company just want your money? im just curious about this type of program more than anything

If they scan for free but charge to "fix the problems found" then it's a subset of crap we call scareware. Scareware plays on the fears of people that "oh noes I has a problems must fix problems".

Most paid cleaner programs are scams and sometimes are actually worse than free versions (like Norton and Mcafee) . A quick google search can help to explain a lot more than I can.
