You know, madness is a lot like gravity… ![]() My Logitech A-0374A USB Headset stopped working correctly today (and the tech support for it is currently down). The headphones refuse to play sound despite the fact that they are on and the computer does recognize that they are plugged in. Sometimes sound does manage to get through. It works in both ears but the sound is similar to garbled mono. (Ex. I only hear choppy background vocals/instruments while listening to a song.) My speakers, mp3 player ear-buds, and an older set of headphones work fine with the computer. However they all are being plugged into the green headphone jacks while my headset uses the USB ports. I think that the USB ports on my computer might be part of the problem. My headphones will not work on any of the 6 ports (2 front panel and 4 back panel). I tested the ports with my flash drive, mp3 player, and camera. The mp3 player and camera will both work on the front panel. However the flash drive only works on the back panel. Help? ![]() ...sometimes all you need is a little push. |
